The
Institute of Texan Cultures is a cultural experience museum
dedicated to enhancing the understanding of cultural history and its
influence upon the people of Texas. The museum develops exhibits,
programs, and special events that encourage acceptance and
appreciation of our differences as well as our common humanity. The
museum strives to provide a forum for diversity and a showcase for
the dynamics of cultural history.

The Museum cheerfully accepts cash, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and
Travelers Checks. The museum does not accept personal checks.

Monday - Saturday 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday 12 p.m.–5 p.m.

Set-up days for Texas Folklife Festival (June). Call in advance for
dates.
Parking
Complimentary parking is available to museum guests in the parking
lot in front of the museum. This lot can be accessed from Durango
Boulevard.
